The work at Shivia is inspirational, enabling families by empowering to boost their income and encouraging permanent change. 

Shivia works in rural West Bengal, one of India’s poorest and most populous states. The charity gives families living in rural villages near Kolkota the tools and training to start an enterprise from home so that they can earn money. Shivia empowers the people in most need, and particularly women, to work their own way out of poverty and to provide a brighter future for their children.
